The paper describes the experimental validation of biomechanical response Hybrid III 50th Percentile Male Pedestrian Dummy (JASTI, Tokyo, Japan) at low impact velocity (up to 2.2 m/s) in comparison with that human probands. is based on previous research was focused tram-pedestrian crash tests using same dummy. biofidelity dummy analyzed two collision scenarios: anteroposterior (chest impact) and lateral (shoulder a unique pendulum testing machine own design construction. primary outcome variable peak resultant acceleration head chest during impact. Based lab-based measurements, found adequate precise for purposes future crash-test analyses area automotive industry. proposed methodology measurement protocol were shown proper compare data between participants. Following pilot experiments, kinematic dynamic participants assess frontal side collisions velocities.
